Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
An individual that has ADHD will have lots of energy (hyperactive) and find it difficult to concentrate. ADHD is the most common behavioural disorder in children, it generally starts from about 18 months, but symptoms typically become noticeable between 3 and 7 years of age. Causes of ADHD are unknown, but it’s considered that it could be caused by imbalance in brain chemicals. ADHD affects part the brain, it is a neuro-developmental condition.
